MOBILE TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A VEHICLE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A portable terminal and a vehicle control method using the same are provided to enable a user to conveniently control information by using a UI(User Interface) in a state in which the portable terminal connects to a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A control unit of a portable terminal enters a TM(Terminal Mode) through a predetermined menu input(S410). The control unit transmits information of the portable terminal and receives vehicle information from a vehicle control device(S420). The control unit determines the kind of available applications and displays an initial menu including an available application list on a display unit(S430). The control unit transmits the corresponding signal to the vehicle control device according to a user command(S440,S450).
