Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An air conditioner, a cable controller thereof, and a control method for the air conditioner using the cable controller are provided to improve stability of the air conditioner and convenience of users by restoring communications error between the cable controller and the air conditioner. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner comprises one or more outdoor units(300), one or more indoor units(200), and a cable controller(100). The outdoor unit comprises a compressor and distributes refrigerant. The indoor unit is connected to the outdoor unit through a refrigerant pipe and performs air conditioning. The indoor unit is connected in a cable communication method in order to transmit and receive data, generates a control signal, and transmits to the indoor unit.
