Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A method for producing bioethanol using variant beta-glucosidase with enhanced activity is provided to produce bioethanol using a transformant. CONSTITUTION: A polynucleotide encodes variant beta-glucosidase with enhanced activity. The variant beta-glucosidase is encoded by a polynucleotide comprising: a polynucleotide of a beta-glucosidase gene(sequence number 8) derived from Saccharomycopsis fiburigera, in which 114th base, adenine is substituted to guanine, a polynucleotide in which 1377th, thymine is substituted to cytosine; a polynucleotide in which 1527th base, thymine is substituted to adenine; a nucleotide encoding a polypeptide in which 74th amino acid, threonine is substituted to alanine; a nucleotide encoding a polypeptide in which 275th amino acid, valine is substituted to alanine; or a nucleotide encoding a polypeptide in which 74th and 275th amino acids are substituted to alanine.
