VARIABLE BLADE FOR WIND POWER GENERATOR

PURPOSE: A variable form blade for a wind turbine is provided to vary the surface area of the blade for getting high torque when wind blows at low speed, thereby increasing power generation. CONSTITUTION: A variable form blade(130) for a wind turbine comprises a blade body(131) and a varying unit(136) including an expansion plate(137) moving to the chord of the blade along the blade body. The blade body has a path(134) connecting the outside and the inside of the blade body for moving the expansion plate. The path is arranged in a trailing edge(133b) of the blade body. The expansion plate includes a closing unit for closing the path when the expansion plate is inserted within the blade body. The closing unit is positioned at the top and the bottom of the path and includes a first closing member(141) and a second closing member(142) which are coupled with the blade body. The first and the second closing members are made of elastic material. A lubricant is provided in the contact portion between the expansion plate and the blade body.
