APPARATUS FOR REDUCING NOISE OF YAW BREAK SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A device for reducing noise in a yaw brake system of a wind turbine is provided to reduce the heat generated from the yaw brake system, thereby enhancing the lifetime of the yaw brake system, reducing dust resulted from operation of the yaw brake system, and preventing dust dispersion. CONSTITUTION: A device for reducing noise in a yaw brake system of a wind turbine comprising a nacelle, a tower, a rotor controls the yawing of the nacelle by using the friction between a yaw disc and a disc pad. The device for reducing noise in a yaw brake system of a wind turbine vertically passes through the yaw disc(900) and includes at least one yaw disc hole(1200) formed along the direction of the rotation of the friction surface between the yaw disc and the yaw disc pad(1000) generated by the rotation of the nacelle. At least one or more yaw disc holes are formed in the direction of the rotation radius of the nacelle. The yaw disc has an annular shape. The yaw disc hole has a circular shape and measures 0%-50% of the width in the direction of the radius of the yaw disc in diameter.
