Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A hybrid rope and a method for fabricating the same are provided to enhance tensile strength and to prevent damage to a fiber rope. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid rope(1) has a plurality of lateral side strands(6) which is prepared by twisting a high strength synthetic fiber core(2) and a plurality of steel wires. The high strength synthetic fiber core contains a high strength synthetic fiber rope(3) which is woven with a plurality of high strength synthetic fiber bundles(30) formed of a plurality of high strength synthetic fiber filaments(31). The high strength synthetic fiber core has a plurality of braid sleeves(4) and a resin layer(5).
