OPTICAL CONNECTOR FOR HIGH POWER LASER

PURPOSE: An optical connector for a high power laser is provided to be mechanically connected and to smoothly perform thermal emission. CONSTITUTION: An optical connector for a high power laser includes an external ferrule(10), an internal ferrule(40), a split holder(60) and a thermal emission member(70). The external ferrule successively forms an internal ferrule insertion unit and a split holder with a gradual step from a penetration hole for insertion of a front-end of an optical fiber. The internal ferrule forms a penetration hole for insertion of an optical fiber and is inserted into the internal ferrule insertion unit. The split holder forms a penetration hole for insertion of an optical fiber, and forms a slit unit being split into multiple splits in the longitudinal direction and inserts the split unit into a split holder engagement unit and tightens the split unit. A connection member being engaged with the external periphery of one end of the external ferrule is engaged with a connection member being connected with the other optical fiber or a connection member being prepared in the other optical component. The thermal emission member is connected with the outer periphery of the other end of the external ferrule and forms a heat emission pin in the outer periphery.
