Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A caliper brake for a vehicle is provided to prevent a noise caused by contacts between a sliding pin and a carrier; and stiction of the sliding pin caused by exhaustion of lubricant by inserting a damping member made of incompressible and nonmetallic material and having grooves for lubricant into the pin hole, thereby enhancing performance and life of a brake and providing a driver with a comfortable ride. CONSTITUTION: A caliper brake(100) for a vehicle comprises a carrier(110), a housing(120), a sliding pin(130), and a damping member(140). The carrier is fixed to a car body and includes a cylinder for driving a pad(180) to pressurize a disc(170) and multiple pinholes(111). The housing includes a joint portion(121) having a fastening hole(123) and is coupled to the carrier for sliding within the carrier. The sliding pin slides along the pinholes as one end of the sliding pin is fixed to the housing and the other end is inserted into the pinholes. The damping member made of incompressible and nonmetallic material is inserted into the pinholes.
