Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: A robot cleaner and a self diagnosis method is provided to performs the self-diagnosis by detecting the state of the components and sensors composing the robot cleaner, thereby improving operational efficiency by the improvement of the system stability and the prevention of error and damage of the robot cleaner. CONSTITUTION: A robot cleaner comprises a one-or-more component detection unit, an input unit, a control unit, an output unit, and a storing unit. The one-or-more component detection unit is equipped in the robot cleaner and puts out the detected information about the inside and outside of the robot cleaner. The input unit is input with an executive command of the self-diagnosis mode. The control unit initiates the self-diagnosis mode according to an executive command, and diagnoses the robot cleaner by using the detected information. The output unit outputs the executed result of the self-diagnosis mode. The storing unit is provided with the predetermination of a diagnosis algorithm according to the self-diagnosis mode. The control unit executes the self-diagnosis mode according to the predetermined diagnosis algorithm(S300). The control unit diagnoses the state of one-or-more component detection unit according to the self-diagnosis mode.
