MOBILE TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A portable terminal and a control method thereof are provided to supply prediction termination time to a user by calculating prediction termination time of a portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: A battery calculating unit(182) calculates prediction termination time of a portable terminal based on the residual quantity of a battery. A display unit(151) displays information which indicates the prediction termination time calculated by the battery calculating unit. If the time for extending the prediction termination time is set up, a control unit(180) searches for set values of the portable terminal. The control unit changes the set values.
