Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A transparent composite material is provided to maintain excellent transparency within a wide temperature range by impregnating a glass composition and an inorganic-organic hybrid resin. CONSTITUTION: A transparent composite material comprises a glass fiber and an inorganic-organic hybrid resin consisting of an inorganic binder and an organic binder. The inorganic binder is a Si-O-Si binder or a Si-O-M binder. In here, M is a metallic element. The ratio of the Si-O-Si is 30-60%. The thermo-optic coefficient of the inorganic-organic hybrid resin is -5 x 10^(-5) - 10^(-5)/°C. The ratio of the Si-O-M binder is 2-20%. The Si-O-M binder is one or more selected from Si-O-Ti, Si-O-Zr and Si-O-Al binder.
