CONSTITUTION: A variable symbol display device(10) includes a housing(100), a substrate(200), a light source unit(300) and an optical filter unit(400). The substrate is fixed on the housing. The light source unit is arranged on the substrate. The light source unit includes a first wavelength light source outputting first wavelength light and a second wavelength light source outputting second wavelength light. The optical filter unit changes an output area of light corresponding to an operation of the light source unit.
