METALLIC PIPE BENDING APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING METALLIC PIPE

PURPOSE: A bending process device of a metal pipe is provided to consider only the rotary motion of a clamp arm, and solely implement the control of the compressive force with separation from a propelling operation, thereby simplifying the compression control. CONSTITUTION: A bending process device of a metal pipe comprises a heating means, a propelling means, a guiding means, and a compressing means. The guiding means holds the front portion of the heating portion, in respect to the heating means, in the metal pipe(11). The guiding means rotates the holding point on a supporting shaft accompanied with the propelling of the metal pipe by the propelling means, and then provides a bending moment on the metal pipe. The compression means provides a pulling back force, which pulls back the clamp arm in rotary motion accompanied with the propelling of the metal pipe by the propelling, on the clamp arm at a supporting point on the supporting shaft, thereby applying the compressive force on the metal pipe. The compression means includes a connecting member and a motor. The connecting member is in contact with the outer position in view of the supporting shaft of the clamp arm. The motor applies the pulling back force on the outer position of the clamp arm through the connecting member.
