Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A secondary battery with improved production efficiency is provided to prevent deformation of separator in a gas removing process. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery(10) comprises electrodes assembly(100) which includes first and second electrode plates(110, 120) and a separator(130) which is placed between the electrodes, and a battery case(20) for accommodating the electrode assembly. The terminal part of the separator installed at the most outer side of the electrode assembly is accommodated to face in gas exhausting direction. The battery case comprises a pouch. The pouch includes a part of gas trap portion(23).
