CONSTITUTION: A primer set for detecting Cylindrocarpon destructans and diagnosing pathogen contains a primer set of sequence numbers 1 and 2 or a primer set of sequence numbers 3 and 4. A primer set for detecting Cylindrocarpon destructans is represented by sequence numbers 1 and 2. A primer set for diagnosing pathogenicity of Cylindrocarpon destructans is represented by sequence numbers 3 and 4. A method for detecting Cylindrocarpon destructans comprises: a step of isolating DNA from a sample; a step of performing PCR of the DNA using the primer; and a step of analyzing amplified DNA.
