LEG REST APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE SEAT

PURPOSE: A leg rest device for a vehicle seat is provided to ensure superior strength and durability and reduce weight and costs of parts. CONSTITUTION: A leg rest device for a vehicle seat comprises a base bracket(10), a rotary bracket(20), a movable bracket(30), a drive motor(40), an operating rod(51), a rotary shaft, and a link mechanism. The base bracket is coupled to a seat cushion frame at the front of a seat cushion. The rotary bracket is coupled to the base bracket and allowed to pivot up and down. The movable bracket is coupled to the rotary bracket and allowed to slide. The drive motor is fixed to the base bracket and provides power for operation of the rotary bracket and the movable bracket. The operating rod is connected to the drive motor to receive power and linearly move. The rotary shaft is fixed to both sides of the rotary bracket and connected to one end of the operating rod to rotate the rotary bracket along with the linear motion of the operating rod. The link mechanism connects the base bracket and the movable bracket so that the movable bracket can slide relative to the rotary bracket when the rotary bracket rotates.
