Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A relief valve for a compressor is provided to prevent damage to surrounding devices caused by refrigerant gas emitted through the relief valve. CONSTITUTION: A relief valve for a compressor comprises a valve body(12), a relief port(14), a cap(25), and a cover(17). The relief port is formed on the end of the valve body and emits refrigerant gas to the outside when pressure in a compressor is excessively increased. The cap has an end portion(28) and a peripheral surface(27). The cover has a peripheral surface meshed with the peripheral surface of the cap and a hanging portion(21) meshed with the valve body.
