Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An array substrate for an LCD device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce a line width of each signal line, thereby increasing transmittance. CONSTITUTION: First and second common electrodes are parallel with a pixel electrode. A penetration line(109) exposes one area of a substrate on both sides of a data line. A shielding common electrode(108c) covers an upper portion of the data line. The shielding common electrode is connected to the second common electrode through the penetration line. The shielding common electrode shields both sides of the data line.
