APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING CHILD LOCK OF VEHICLE AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A child lock control device for a vehicle and a method thereof are provided to adjust a child lock mounted on the rear seat of a vehicle without the driver getting out. CONSTITUTION: A child lock control device for a vehicle comprises a control unit(106) and a body control unit(107). The control unit is operated based on vehicle speed information, door lock information, door switch information, battery power information, and airbag information. The control unit controls the door lock based on the door switch information and vehicle abnormal state detection information. The control unit controls front and rear door locks selectively or simultaneously based on the number of manipulation for a door switch. The body control unit performs door lock according to the control signals generated the control unit. The body control unit locks or unlocks the front and the rear doors.
