Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: An MRI contrast coated with carboxyl group-introduced mannan is provided to ensure high in vivo stability and biocompatibility and to visualize antigen presenting cells and tissues including antigen presenting cells. CONSTITUTION: A superparamagnetic nanoparticle MRI contrast coated with carboxylic acid-mannan visualizes antigen-presenting cells and tissues containing the cells. The cells include dendritic cells, macrophage, and B-cells. The carboxylic acid-mannan is prepared from aldehyde-mannan. A method for preparing the MRI contrast comprises: a step of synthesizing superparamagnetic nanoparticles; a step of introducing aldehyde groups to mannan to prepare aldehyde-mannan; a step of oxidizing the alhehyde-mannan to prepare carboxyl-mannan; and a step of coating the superparamagnetic nanoparticles with the carboxylic acid-mannan. |
