Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A metal powder preparation method and apparatus are provided to use a tundish without replacement when an orifice is clogged by closing the orifice and opening the other orifice. CONSTITUTION: A metal powder preparation apparatus comprises a tundish(30), an orifice opening and closing unit, and a spray unit(400). The tundish is formed with first and second orifices(31,32) at the bottom and receives molten metal(5). The orifice opening and closing unit closes the other orifice when one of the orifices is opened. The spray unit is arranged under the tundish and moved to the underside of the opened one of the first and second orifices to spray fluid to molten metal discharged. The orifice opening and closing unit is a stopper module(100) detachably installed on the upper side of the tundish bottom or a sliding gate module arranged on the lower side of the tundish bottom.
