Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A cell analysis method of a cell library is provided to place cells of a cell library in a layout and route them and then analyze the cells of the library, thereby deciding pin use metrics for input/output pins. CONSTITUTION: A routing connection location used in a layout is decided for a pin of a cell. The routing connection locations is decided. A use metrics for the pin of the cell is decided based on connectable locations for the pin and the routing connection locations(404). The use metrics are displayed on a display unit(406). The use metrics are displayed in a graphical expression of the cell on the display unit.
