Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A method and a kit for evaluating the quality of semen using phenol red is provided to identify the color of a semen sample with naked eyes and to quickly and conveniently evaluate the quality of semen. CONSTITUTION: A method for evaluating the quality of semen comprises: a step of storing a semen sample containing phenol red; a step of positioning the semen sample and the semen sample containing phenol red at partitioned sections; a step of detecting the color of the semen sample containing phenol red with naked eyes; and a step of determining the semen sample is usable in case that the color of the semen sample containing phenol red corresponds to the preset range. The semen sample is prepared from human body, pig, dog, deer, or cow.
