Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An electric motor having a permanent magnet and a compressor therewith are provided to easily fix a permanent magnet by integrally forming a separation prevention unit on the permanent magnet. CONSTITUTION: An electric motor having a permanent magnet comprises a stator and a rotor. The rotor is arranged to be rotatable to the stator. The rotor comprises a rotary shaft(181), a rotor core(191), a permanent magnet, and a balance weight(220). The rotary shaft is coupled to the center of the rotor core. The permanent magnet is inserted into the rotor core in an axial direction. The balance weight has a weight unit and a separation prevention unit. The weight unit is eccentrically coupled to the end of the rotor core. The separation prevention unit is arranged on the end of the permanent magnet and prevents the separation of the permanent magnet.
