Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A word learning method and apparatus are provided to improve learning performance of a user by arousing the interest of a user through an animation function. CONSTITUTION: A word learning apparatus(500) comprise a storing part(510), a display part(520), an input part(530), and a word learning controller(540). The storing part stores a word learning program for learning a word. The display part indicates a first word selected by a user among words which provides in the word learning program in a first area. The word learning controller indicates a meaning example menu of the first word in screen. The word learning controller indicates a meaning of the first word at the first area when a predetermined input in regard to the meaning example menu is received from the user.
