Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A metal connecting material for solid oxide fuel cell and a coating method thereof are provided to enhance lifetime of the battery cell by preventing or reducing formation of chrome oxide on surface of a metal interconnector. CONSTITUTION: A metal connecting material for solid oxide fuel cell comprises a stainless steel, a manganese oxide(MnO) layer which is coated on the stainless steel, a spinel based or a perovskite based oxide layer on the manganese oxide layer. The manganese oxide layer has a thickness of 0.5-2 microns. The spinel based or the perovskite-based oxide layer has the thickness of 1-100 microns. A coating method of the metal interconnection material comprises the following steps: coating manganese oxide(MnO) on surface of the metal interconnection material; and coating the spinel or the perovskite-based oxide on top of the manganese oxide.
