APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TESTNG ROTATION OF HELICOPTER ROTOR SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A rotation testing device and rotation testing method of a helicopter rotor system are provided to simply and efficiently conduct a static test and a wind tunnel test of a rotor system under the same condition of an actual helicopter. CONSTITUTION: A rotation testing device and rotation testing method of a helicopter rotor system comprises a rotation balance(110), a pitch control unit(120), a driving unit(130), a fixing balance(140), a fairing mounting unit(150), and a body tilting unit(160), and a supporter(170). The rotation balance measures loads generated in a rotor system. The pitch control unit controls a pitch angle of a rotor blade of the rotor system. The driving unit supports the rotation balance and pitch control unit and supplies a driving force to a rotor rotary shaft of the rotor system. The fixing balance measures loads generated in a body including the rotor system, the pitch control unit, and the driving unit. The fairing mounting unit is comprised in one side of the fixing balance. The rotor system, the rotation balance, the pitch control unit, the driving unit, the fixing balance, the fairing mounting unit, and the body tilting unit are loaded on the supporter.
