CONSTITUTION: A bacteriophage PA1Ø(deposit number KCTC 11796BP) of Siphoviridae has whole genome of sequence number 1 and has an ability of inducing apoptosis of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus. The bacteriophage also has the ability of inducing apoptosis of Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus homonis, Shigella sonnei, Listeria monocytogenes, or Streptococcus pneumonia. A pharmaceutical composition for treating diseases caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus homo varnish, or Listeria monocytogenes. An antibiotic or disinfectious agent contains the bacteriophage as an active ingredient.
