Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A method for preparing (S)-bepotastine is provided to enhance yield and optical purity of (S)-bepotastine. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing (S)-bepotastine comprises: a step of performing optical resolution of a compound of chemical formula 2 under the presence of an organic solvent to prepare a compound of chemical formula 3; and a step of reacting the compound of chemical formula 3 under an acidic condition to prepare a compound of chemical formula 1. The organic solvent includes ethyl acetate, methylene chloride, acetone, hexane, diethyl ether, or diisoporpyl ether.
