PURPOSE: A device and method for detecting returned amount of plate-shaped objects, a cutting device for plate-shaped objects, device and method for processing cutting line of plate-shaped objects are provided to accurately revise return amount of the plate-shaped objects according to correction value which is in accordance with diameter changed amount of rollers. CONSTITUTION: A device for detecting returned amount of plate-shaped objects(100) comprises a roller(102), a signal generating tool, a calculating tool, a measuring tool, and a compensation controlling unit. The roller revolves while in contact with returned plate-shaped objects. The signal generating tool generates signals according to rotation time of the roller. The operation tool computes volume of returned plate-shaped objects based on the signal. The integrated metrology measures shape of the roller. The compensation controlling unit compares standard shape of the roller with the measured shape of the roller in order to obtain changed diameter amount of the roller.
