Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A light emitting device and a light emitting diode package including the same are provided to improve color uniformity by controlling a desired distribution state of a fluorescent substance in a light-transmissive fluorescence plate. CONSTITUTION: A light-transmissive fluorescence plate(24) is arranged on a light emitting diode chip. A light-transmissive encapsulating material seals the light emitting diode chip and a light-transmissive fluorescence plate. The light-transmissive fluorescence plate comprises a light-transmissive plate(242) which has a refractive index less than the refractive index of the light emitting diode chip and greater than the refractive index of the encapsulating material. The light-transmissive fluorescence plate comprises a fluorescent material layer(246) on the opposite side of the light emitting diode chip based on the light-transmissive plate.
