Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A variable cylinder engine is provided to reduce power losses because the gravitation of a magnet is applied as an auxiliary power to lift a piston. CONSTITUTION: A variable cylinder engine comprises a plurality of cylinders, an electromagnet(300), and a magnet(400). A plurality of the cylinders is connected to a crank shaft, which is connected to a piston with a connecting rod. The electromagnet is installed on one end of the cylinder. The magnet is installed on one end of the piston of the several cylinders. The electromagnet is installed on an upper part of the cylinder, and the magnet is installed on the upper part of the piston.
