Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An antibacterial composition against Xanthomonas oryzae pathovar oryz containing bottromycin A2 is provided to effectively suppress growth of Xanthomonas oryzae pathovar oryz. CONSTITUTION: An antibacterial composition against Xanthomonas oryzae pathovar oryz contains 0.001-90 weight parts of bottromycin A2 as an active ingredient. The bottromycin A2 is derived from Streptomyces sp. A method for extracting bottromycin A2 from soil Actinomyces comprises: a step of extracting culture liquid of the soil Actinomyces with organic solvent and a step of performing chromatography. The organic solvent includes acetone, ethyl acetate, ether, chloroform, pentane, hexane, heptanes, nonane, decane, benzene, toluene, xylene, methanol, ethanol, butanol, or spirit.
