Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A personal care product containing 2-methyl-4-isothiazoline-3-one and hydroquinone radical scavenger is provided to reduce fragrance from the product. CONSTITUTION: A personal care product on the skin contains at least one active ingredients for personal care on the skin; 25-200 ppm of 2-methyl-4-isothizoline-3-one as a preservative; and 50-2000 ppm of hydroquinone radical scavenger. The hydroquinone radical scavenger is 2,5-di-t-butyl-1,4-hydroquinone, 2-t-butyl-1,4-hydroquinone, 2,5-bis-(2,4-dimethylphenyl)hydroquinone, propyl 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoate, 2-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-1,4-benzendiol, 4-t-butylcatechol, 4-butylresorcinol, 4-(1-phenylethyl)resorcinol, 2,5-di-t-pentyl-1,4-hydroquinone, pirocatechol, or 1,2,4-trihydroxybenzene.
