Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A backlight unit with a dual display function is provided to eliminate image separation and overlapping, increase clearness, and effectively reduce fatigue of eyes. CONSTITUTION: First and second light sources(L1,L2) provide backlight onto a liquid crystal panel(10). A light guide panel(20) guides backlight of the first light source to a main screen area(A1) of the liquid crystal panel. The light guide panel is divided into first and second areas to guide backlight of the second light source into a sub screen area(A2) of the liquid crystal panel. An instrument board(50) of a reel type is placed in a rear side of the light guide panel. A third light source(L3) provides backlight to project an instrument board onto a main screen area of the liquid crystal panel. A first light source guide unit(30) is placed in front of the light guide panel.
