Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An RFID reader is provided to simplify a task for connecting antennas to an RFID reader by using antenna parameters. CONSTITUTION: An antenna(16) includes a data carrier(26). The data carrier stores antenna parameters. A transceiving unit(18) accesses the data carrier and inquires the antenna parameters. An evaluation unit(24) encodes or reads out RFID information. The data carrier stores identification information of the antenna. The transceiving unit determines antenna parameters with reference to the identification information.
