Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A highlight of a real time event providing system based on hot topic event extraction and highlight service providing method using the same are provided to automatically offer the highlight of the real time event by extracting a hot topic event from a message stream of a social media. CONSTITUTION: A hot event session detection unit(14) detects a hot event session by using a message stream of a social media. A keyword detecting unit(15) detects key words related to a hot event by using an algorithm which is previously established in the detected hot event session. A hot event creation unit(16) creates the hot event by using a meaning relation between the extracted key words.
