Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A method for isolating and purifying EGCG in green tea using ultra high pressure recrystallization is provided to save time and cost for extraction. CONSTITUTION: A method for isolating and purifying EGCG comprises: a step of adding solvent to dried and cut green tea plants to extract active ingredient EGCG; a step of obtaining powder containing EGCG from a solution; a step of adding two or more kinds of solvent to the powder to obtain a fraction containing active ingredient, EGCG; a step of adding solvent to the fraction containing EGCG; and a step of applying 50-1,000MPa of ultra high pressure.
