Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A method for displaying POI(Point Of Interest) and a system thereof are provided to enhance the display of POI in a navigation system while decreasing the congestion of display, thereby quickly executing the display of POI in an efficient way. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(101) displays a map section and POI data to a user. A database stores POI and POI data with the POI location. A map unit(106) determines a map section which is displayed on a fixed map scale. A search unit(107) searches the POI data displayed from the database. A display control unit(108) displays the map section and the POI data.
