ELECTRONIC DEVICE CONTROLLING APPARATUS FOR MOBILE TERMINAL AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An electronic apparatus control apparatus of a portable terminal and method thereof are provided to display a remote controller menu at a display unit by capturing an electronic apparatus. CONSTITUTION: When an electronic apparatus is displayed at a display unit(203) through a camera(205), a control unit(201) receives an electronic apparatus identifier from the electronic apparatus through a communication module(202). The control unit controls the electronic apparatus by using the communication module based on electronic apparatus information which is matched with the received electronic apparatus identifier. When the electronic apparatus is displayed at the display unit, the control unit requests the electronic apparatus identifier at the electronic apparatus through the communication module. The electronic identifier includes the product number of the electronic apparatus, a serial number, or a model name.
