Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A network service providing method and display apparatus are provided to reduce the power consumption of a display apparatus by enabling a user to select a network service. CONSTITUTION: A network interface unit(1102) receives a second network service list and a first network service list from a server. The first network service list includes a network service category which is used in a display apparatus. A second network service list includes the network service category which is used in the display apparatus. A control unit(1118) outputs the first network service list and the second network service list according to information received by the network interface unit. A display unit(1116) outputs the first network list and the second network service list.
