FLASH SYSTEN FOR CONTROLLING DATA COPY AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A flash system for controlling data copy and a control method thereof are provided to shorten data copy time by supplying a data program command of a target chip for preset time when data of a corresponding chip is read. CONSTITUTION: A flash system includes a host interface, a memory controller(140), and first and second chips(NAND1,NAND2). The memory controller is connected to the host interface. The first and second chips are controlled by the memory controller and include a plurality of nonvolatile memory cells. The first and second chips respectively include page buffers. When the data of the first chip is read, a program command about the second chip is provided.
