Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A multi broadband communications through a power line is provided to optimize cost using a modulation method about each technology which is used in an improved power line communications network. CONSTITUTION: A modem(80) includes N blocks(82A-82N). The each block is corresponded to one of PLC(Power Line Communication) technology which is supported by a node. The blocks are respectively corresponded to TechA and TechN technology. The blocks are arranged between a data distributing block(84) and an analog filter block(86). The analog filter block is combined with a power line(90) by a coupling and decoupling stage(88). The analog filter block includes N analog passband filters. Each passband filter transmits and receives a signal in the frequency range of passband filters. The data distributing block distributes data between blocks based on the channel capacity of each bandwidth and a traffic property in a current network.
