Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A video display system and a method for displaying the same are provided to transmit a left eye image and a right eye image to an image display device by converting the image into analog 3D image information. CONSTITUTION: Image information is recorded in an optical disk(110). An image display apparatus(130) has an extension display identification data. If the video information of the optical disc is 3D video information, a reproduction apparatus(120) determines the connection between the image display device and a connecting interface unit by analyzing the extension display identification data. If the determined interface unit is an analog interface unit, the reproduction apparatus directs the output of an warning message to the image display device.
