Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An injection device of a fuel injection pump is provided to prevent the jet of fluid discharge from the control edge of a plunger at the time of pressure release from colliding with the inlet/outlet part. CONSTITUTION: An injection device of a fuel injection pump comprises a plunger(100) and a barrel(200). The plunger is formed with a release groove connected to a plunger chamber(202) and a control edge(104) connected to the release groove. The barrel is formed with a spill port(206) which connects the plunger chamber and an oil inlet/outlet chamber(204) and discharges the pressure by the contact with the control edge. The spill port comprises an inlet/outlet part(211), an expanded part(212), and an extended part(213). The length(L) of the inlet/outlet part of the spill port is 1/5~1/2 of the diameter(D).
