Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A transmission and reception light source apparatus and an WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) system therefore are provide to electrically control an amplification feature of a light source apparatus and an operation feature of receiver. CONSTITUTION: An amplifier amplifies a received optical signal. The amplifier outputs the optical signal by reflecting a small part of the optical signal. A converter converts photoelectrically the optical signal except for the small part. The amplifier acts to the reception apparatus in a reception mode. The reception apparatus amplifies an inputted optical signal. The reception apparatus transfers the amplified optical signal to the converter.
