Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for inputting characters are provided to reduce the character input time by arranging the character input key in a circular shape. CONSTITUTION: A selective input unit(10) is arranged in a central part. A character input unit(20) is arranged in a circular shape from the selective input unit. A contact recognizing board(30) is arranged in the lower part of the character input unit and the selective input unit. The contact recognizing board senses the contact which is applied to the character input unit and the selective input unit.
