Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A method for optimal design of a prestressed concrete I girder is provided to improve the field adaptability and utility of a prestressed concrete I girder by optimizing the tension and cross-sectional shape of the girder. CONSTITUTION: A method for optimal design of a prestressed concrete I girder is characterized in that at least two among the maximum bending tensile stress of the upper edge of a prestressed concrete I girder when stressing the girder, the maximum bending compressive stress of the lower edge when stressing the girder, the maximum bending compressive stress of the upper edge when loading a live load, and the maximum bending tensile stress of the lower edge when loading a live load are equal to the allowable stress.
