Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A straddle tool of a vertical turning center is provided to precisely perform a cutting process by compensating the abrasion of insert tips of first and second tools. CONSTITUTION: A straddle tool of a vertical turning center comprises a body(110), a transport unit(120), a servo motor, and first and second tools. The body is installed in one side of a tool post(20). The transport line is installed in the body. The transport line transfers a slider(130) in Z-axis direction. The servo motor is installed in one side of the body and operates the transport unit. The first tool is installed in the lower of the slider. The second tool is mounted on a turret(22) of a tool post. The second tool keeps distance from the first tool.
