APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OUTPUT POWER ON BASE STATION

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for controlling output power on a base station are provided to analyze the strength of signal transmission around a base station and automatically control the transmission power of corresponding base station based on the analysis result. CONSTITUTION: A measurement report message extracting unit(201) extracts a measurement report including the wireless signal strength information of the neighboring base station from the signal received from a terminal in which a call is connected. An adjacent base station transmission power information receiving unit(202) receives transmission power information of the neighboring base station which is included in the adjacent base station list. The base station surrounding signal transmission environmental analysis part(203) analyzes the signal transmission environment of a base station with reference to the signal strength.
